The Advanced Training in Suicide Prevention workshop aims to increase health professionals’ skill and confidence in: 

1. recognising presentations where suicide risk is high 

2. undertaking a detailed risk assessment 

3. management planning using a collaborative, team based approach 

Learning Outcomes 

By the completion of this program participants will be able to: 

1. undertake a suicide risk assessment effectively 

2. develop a collaborative safety plan 

3. provide effective management following a suicide attempt 

While the workshop is designed for GPs, Allied Health Professional, Practice Nurse, Practice Administrative Staff are also welcome.
