The unprecedented events of mega-bushfires, flooding and the COVID19 pandemic have signalled tremendous challenges for everyone in Australia, but particularly our health community frontline – doctors, nurses, allied health, peer workers. The stressors this places on us at the coalface can impact on wellbeing and patient care.
This webinar looks at strategies to manage this, particularly for GPs and allied health working in the community.
Learning outcomes:
• Identify processes that impact on mental wellbeing for clinicians.
• Discuss a range of strategies: organisational, professional and personal that can improve mental wellbeing and thus our ability to continue effective and empathic patient care.
Target audience: GPs and health professionals within the CESPHN region.
