Join us for a practical webinar on supporting your patients apply for the NDIS and understanding your role in providing evidence for access requests.

GPs and primary care clinicians play an important role in helping patients navigate providing supporting evidence.

Learn more about NDIS eligibility, documenting functional impact and support needs, common access challenges, and alternative pathways for individuals who do not meet access criteria. The session will also introduce practical tips and resources to support high-quality documentation.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Identify documented evidence GPs can provide to support patients applying for the NDIS.
  2. Recognise the value of a practical tool in documenting evidence of the functional impact and support needs of patients applying for NDIS.
  3. Determine when additional assessment by other health professionals may be necessary to meet NDIS evidence requirements.
  4. Identify alternative support pathways for patients who may not meet NDIS access requirements.
