This presentation will explore the role of palliative care in non-malignant, life-limiting illnesses such as heart failure, end-stage respiratory disease, liver failure and neurodegenerative conditions. With the use of case studies, we will explore symptom management, advanced care planning and interdisciplinary care offered by Palliative Medicine to improve quality of life of these patients.
