  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the risks and benefits of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), including thrombotic risk and the role of vaginal oestrogen, and apply evidence based strategies to optimise safety and effectiveness in general practice.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of obesity assessment and management by explaining the limitations of BMI, communicating the concept of metabolic adaptation to patients, and outlining evidence-based therapies for women at different life stages.
  3. Recognise the importance of identifying and managing hypertension during and after pregnancy, and understand the long-term cardiovascular risks associated with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy to support ongoing preventive care.
  4. Outline appropriate use of contraceptives in a high risk population – a physician’s approach.
