CESPHN and Nepean Blue Mountains PHN invites local General Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Podiatrists to a webinar series which is aimed at increasing knowledge and skills for managing patients with acute and chronic wounds.  

It will provide clarity on patient assessment and identification of patients that require referral. In addition, we will look at dressings and how to select the right dressing to optimise patient experience and outcomes.

• Provide an understanding of the importance of patient assessment of in developing a wound plan
• Review treatment options for diabetic foot ulcers, arterial and venous ulcers
• Review compression therapy and how it works in venous leg ulcers
