On 1 October 2026, the NSW Immunisation Schedule was updated to include COVID-19 vaccine (Comirnaty®) for eligible adults.

All NIP stock of Prevenar13® and Pneumovax23® should be immediately discarded and report stock to the NSW Vaccine Centre as ‘expired vaccines’ (dated 30 June 2026).
