Feedback wanted: Voluntary assisted dying educational needs

Central and Eastern Sydney PHN is trying to better understand how to provide support to general practitioners (GPs) and practice nurses with regards to voluntary assisted dying

Please complete our survey to provide feedback on voluntary assisted dying and how the PHN should support the primary care workforce in this space.

The NSW Parliament passed the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022 in 2022, which will allow eligible individuals the choice to access voluntary assisted dying in NSW from 28 November 2023. As a result, GPs and/or practice nurses may receive requests for support in relation to voluntary assisted dying.
