Gamble Aware Multicultural Service (GAMS)

The GambleAware Multicultural Service (GAMS) works in collaboration with the Office of Responsible Gambling and regional GambleAware Providers to raise awareness and reduce gambling related harm in the community.

What they do

  • Telephone information, advice and on-referral

Bilingual mental health clinicians provide assessment, treatment and make referrals to complimentary services, recommendations for future care and transitional plans.

Who are the clinical staff?

GAMS works with a pool of bilingual mental health clinicians speaking over 20 languages. The core staff and contracted clinicians are psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses and counsellors.
