Older people living in Sydney’s eastern suburbs now have greater access to support, information and community connections, with the opening of CESPHN’s newest Healthy Ageing Hub at The Junction Neighbourhood Centre.
The Hub is part of CESPHN’s growing network of Healthy Ageing Hubs designed to help older people maintain their independence, wellbeing and social connections as they age.
Located within The Junction Neighbourhood Centre, the Hub provides practical advice, service navigation and personalised support for older people, their families and carers.
A dedicated Healthy Ageing Advisor can assist with accessing My Aged Care, connecting with local health and community services, and planning for healthy ageing.
The service also supports those experiencing social isolation by linking them with local activities, programs and support networks.
Referrals are not required, making the Hub an accessible and welcoming point of contact for anyone seeking guidance or support with walk ins welcome.
For more information, visit CESPHN’s Healthy Ageing Hubs, webpage or contact The Junction Neighbourhood Centre.
