Erskineville Doctors is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our casual pool

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Skills Experience: We are seeking enthusiastic Registered Nurses for our casual pool to cover annual and sick leave, and vaccine clinics
In this role you will support the doctors to provide high quality care to patients of all ages, and strive to improve health outcomes with patient education.
Home visits to frail and elderly patients in the local area are a part of this role (own transport not required).
We open 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday and 8am – 12pm Saturday (doctors only). Hours are flexible.
The practice is a 5-minute walk to bus and rail lines (T2 and T3 lines) and is nearby to RPA Hospital and its network of specialists, allied health, and pathology providers. We moved to our purpose-built location in 2019 – the consultation rooms are spacious, modern, and fully equipped and you will be supported by an experienced administration team.

Essential criteria:
– Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
– Experience with immunisation of children and adults
– Experience with wound care
– Ability to triage acute medical presentations
– Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
– An understanding and knowledge of WHS
Desirable (non-essential) criteria
– Community or General Practice experience
– Early childhood, antenatal, geriatric or diabetes experience
– Experience in health assessments and care planning
