Practice Nurse e-News Update

Commencing April 2026, our fortnightly Practice Nurse update will be moving to a monthly stand-alone eNewsletter.

We’re excited to invite submissions for our upcoming newsletters, where we’ll be showcasing the incredible work happening across our general practices and nursing community.

If you know a nurse, doing exceptional work, a general practice that has successfully implemented a new program, or a team doing something innovative, inspiring, or worth celebrating, we’d love to hear from you.

Share your stories, achievements, or examples of best practice so we can highlight the great work taking place across our region. Please include a photo with your story.

Please send your submissions to m.fenech@cesphn.com.au

EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES AND PROGRAMS

Carers NSW

Carers NSW are offering general practice carer awareness education and practical resources designed to strengthen carer identification, inclusion and support in the practice setting.

Family and friend carers are at risk of poorer health outcomes and frequently delay their own care while prioritising the needs of the person they support. As a key point of contact, general practice teams can identify carers early and provide timely, preventive support. By adopting some simple strategies across the practice, we can improve health outcomes for carers as well as the patients they are caring for.

The carer awareness sessions are intended to be for the whole practice team but can be tailored to meet your practice needs in terms of audience and length. To request a catered session, please CLICK HERE.
