Psychological Support Services (PSS) end of year referral closure and alternative referral options

Psychological Support Services (PSS) will be accepting referrals until Friday 20 December 2024 5pm and will re-open for referrals from Monday 6 January 2025 9am.

Please note that any referrals sent between these dates will not be reviewed or actioned until the new year.

There is no need to resubmit your referral.

Referrals for Suicide Prevention Service (SPS), or referrals that indicate significant risk will be automatically declined during the referral closure period.

Please note that PSS is not an acute or crisis support service. For individuals requiring crisis support please consider a referral to your local mental health service by calling 1800 011 511 or emergency services 000.

The CESPHN Mental Health Intake and Triage Service will be contactable until 1pm Tuesday 24 December 2024 and available again to support you on Thursday 2 January 2025.

If you would like to discuss alternative referral options, please call the CESPHN Mental Health Intake Team on 1300 170 554 during these times.

Medicare Mental Health Centre will be open for to access mental health information, services and support throughout the end of year holiday period (except for public holidays).
