Electronic Referral for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) has expanded further
As of, Wednesday 22 April 2026, the latest SESLHD latest eReferral implementation introduces a notable change to how patients refer into Antenatal services across SESLHD.
Patients will now require a GP referral for Antenatal care; patients will no longer be able to self-refer to a facility. Flexibility will be applied in certain circumstances, particularly around gestation or clinical considerations for patients who require timely access.
As part of this commitment, all Practitioners with Healthlink access are now strongly encouraged to submit referrals via the Healthlink platform electronically when referring to Outpatient services across SESLHD as we are moving away from paper referral pathways such as fax and email.
The services listed below will be onboarded from, Wednesday 22 April 2026, however there are an additional 115 services already live and accepting eReferrals across SESLHD.
