Upcoming Electronic Referral implementation for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD)
With the upcoming SESLHD eReferral implementation on the 22nd of April there will be a notable change to how patients refer into Antenatal services across SESLHD.
Patients will now require a GP referral for Antenatal care; patients will no longer be able to self-refer to a facility. Flexibility will be applied in certain circumstances, particularly around gestation or clinical considerations for patients who require timely access.
As part of this commitment, all Practitioners with Healthlink access are now strongly encouraged to submit referrals via the Healthlink platform electronically when referring to Outpatient services across SESLHD. Although the services listed below will be onboarded from the dates indicated, 115 services are already live and accepting eReferrals across SESLHD.
