Our practice support team are available to provide you with a Practice Nurse orientation session which includes a copy of our Practice Nurse Resource Guide.
We can also provide you with ongoing support to help you learn and succeed in your new role.
These sessions can either be an in general practice or a virtual visit.

Putting patients first: New guidelines for cosmetic procedures to be effective immediately
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency has issued guidelines for registered health practitioners involved in non-surgical cosmetic procedures, outlining additional education or training requirements and introducing stricter controls on advertising practices.

Attack Asthma Campaign Launched
Asthma Australia has introduced the Attack Asthma campaign to help families with children aged 5–14 shift from reactive approaches to proactive asthma management, offering tailored resources to support better asthma control for young patients.

Pay Increases for Nurses and Aged Care Employees
The Fair Work Commission has recently announced updates to several awards following the Aged Care Work Value Case and the Work Value Case for nurses and midwives. These changes will result in increased minimum pay rates for eligible employees, effective from 1 October 2025.
